The last of six Google+ Hangouts hosted by me and sponsored by #BlackProGen took place on November 17. We helped strategize on how to find free people of color living in Virginia and Maryland, how to get beyond 1910 doing genealogy research in Georgia, and how to access records from organizations such as the Prince Hall Masons and Order of the Eastern Star. We had panelists sitting in from California, Kentucky, Maryland, Tennessee.
